J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2019, 141, 1304−1311. DOI: 10.1021/jacs.8b11341 Page 1309. In the published Article, the concluding sentence of the Results and Discussion reads, “Thus, while we obviously cannot speak to all possible experimental conditions, efficient through-DNA electron transfer does not appear to occur under the (commonly employed)10,22,23,28 conditions we have explored here.” Upon reflection, we realize that the phrase “commonly employed conditions” was imprecise. Despite being similar (in pH, ionic strength, temperature, etc.) to those employed in much of the prior literature, our conditions did not perfectly match those used in any single prior paper.
