n the original published paper,1 eq 3 should be corrected to ε′μ″ + μ′ε″ ≈ Nε0μ0 (αe″ + αm″) < 0

(1)

In this Addition/Correction, we point out that the antiresonance in dielectric resonators can help achieve the negative-index condition, eq 1. Antiresonance in resonant dielectric particles is the anomalous magnetic response at the electric resonance (or vice versa).2,3 The imaginary part of the polarizabilities αe″ and αm ″ can be negative at the antiresonance, and thus, eq 1 can be satisfied by using resonant dielectric particles. This is also consistent with the discussion on the antiresonance in page 1373 of the original manuscript.1
