Correction to Correlation of Chemical Evaporation Rate with Vapor Pressure Donald Mackay* and Ian van Wesenbeeck Environ. Sci. Technol. 2014, 48, 10259−10263; DOI:10.1021/es5029074. In Table 1 of our orginal paper, the heading of column 4 for ER (evaporation rate) data was erroneously stated as being the SI units of kg m−2 s−1. The correct heading is mg m−2 s−1 as measured in the ASTM evaporation rate test. The final correlation eqs 3 to 5 are correct but care should be exercised because as stated in the text the molar masses employed in eqs 3 and 4 have SI units of kg mol−1 whereas eq 5 employs the more common units of g mol−1. We regret this error and thank several readers for pointing it out.
