In this equation, a2 has to be changed to a3 according to the reference (ref 51 in the original manuscript; Mach, A. J.; Di Carlo, D. Biotechnol. Bioeng. 2010, 107, 302− 311). The numerical simulation was carried out with the relation, FL = f LρU2a3/W. The equation should be corrected from FL = f LρU2a2/W to FL = f LρU2a3/W.
