Correction to Steroidal Aromatic “Naphthenic Acids” in Oil Sands Process-Affected Water: Structural Comparisons with Environmental Estrogens S. J. Rowland,* C. E. West, A. G. Scarlett, D. Jones, R. Frank, and L. M. Hewitt Environ. Sci. Technol. 2011, 45, 9806−9815; DOI: 10.1021/es202606d We have discovered an error with the library mass spectrum of a reference compound as published in Figure 2C. This occurred due to the use of the default settings in the library search software which we have found do not allow the whole spectrum to be displayed until the settings have been changed manually. No other spectra are effected since the others were our original spectra of unknowns, not library spectra. A molecular ion m/z 328 should be present at 65% relative abundance. We do not wish to change our arguments in the paper; we are continuing with our studies of these tentatively assigned unknown acids including synthesis and other experimentation.
