Diaconescu* Organometallics 2013, 32, 1379−1386.10.1021/om3010433 The claim made in our original paper that ErBn3(THF)2 and GdBn3(THF)3 are the first structurally characterized Er and Gd trisalkyl complexes not incorporating N-chelating ligands was inaccurate. Liddle et al. have prepared GdBn3(THF)3 and ErBn3(THF)3 using different starting materials, GdI3(THF)3.5 and ErI3(THF)3.5, as reported in ref 1.
