Page 1426: We note the change in the time of oxidation compared to the previously reported method. It should read as follows: Solid-Phase Pyridinium Boranephosphonate DNA Synthesis. ODNs containing boranephosphonate linkages were synthesized as described previously4 on a 0.2 μmol scale on a highly cross-linked polystyrene resin using 5′-dimethoxytrityl2′-deoxythymidine-3′-O-cyanoethyl-N,N-diisopropylphosphoramidite. The only change made to the previously reported method was to increase the oxidation time with peroxide at positions that contained a phosphate linkage to 60 s.
