Corrections Equation 6 in the article “Three-Dimensional Representations of Surface Spherical harmonics and Their Squares Using Normal Projections: Some Comments on the Functions (Kiralj, R. J. Chem. Educ. 1998, 75, 332–338) was incorrect as printed. The correct version of equation 6 is: Yl m θ , ϕ = Θl m θ Φm ϕ Θ l m θ = p l mN l Φm ϕ =

In a recent article on the kinetics of consecutive reactions (1), I made a statement to the effect that first-order, zerothorder consecutive reactions had not been treated in the literature, especially textbooks. That statement was in error. Quite by accident, I found a paper (2) by G. V. Calder of Iowa State University that did treat such a case. “The Time Evolution of Drugs in the Body” treats several kinetic scenarios, including the first-order, zeroth-order adsorption and processing of ethanol by the body. My apologies for the omission. Interested persons should consult that reference for a more complete treatment of the application of chemical kinetics to human biochemistry. Literature Cited
