Introducing Matheson Custom G a s Detection Systems N o w you can protect an entire plant, process, or even remote cylinder storage areas with O N E gas detec tion system. Matheson Cus tom Gas Detection Systems can monitor and protect workers in multiple locations from exposure to dangerous, flammable or toxic gas leaks. You can monitor remote areas and activate alarms, even operate fans, ventila tors and other equipment when preselected levels of gas are detected.

74 Gases Detected A single system can detect such diverse gases as chlor ine, ammonia, hydrogen, and methane, in both partper-million or percent ranges. A n d , up to 8 different gases can be detected with a single system. Proven, reliable, solid-state sensors are avail able for 74 gases, in multiple detection ranges. And for reli ability, each sensor is factory calibrated with the actual gas during manufacture. Expandable Systems Because your needs change, so does our system. You can install just those sen sors you need to start and expand the system later to monitor additional areas and gases. In addition to normal

work areas, locations such as cylinder storage, process filtration, analysis, scrubbing and treatment, and receiving and shipping areas can be monitored. The modular sen sors and central mainframe display let you expand your custom system when you need it. Sensors Located Where "The G a s Is Since the sensors are located at the point of detec tion, there are no require ments such as sample tubing or pumps to draw the sample to the detector. Also, the detection and response is real t i m e , no delay due to sample transport to a central detector. Sensors are con nected to the system with standard instrument cable. If your plant or laboratory changes, sensors can be relo
