Correction to Proton or Metal? The H/D Exchange of Arenes in Acidic Solvents Dominik Munz, Michael Webster-Gardiner, Ross Fu, Thomas Strassner, William A. Goddard, III,* and T. Brent Gunnoe* ACS Catal. 2015, 5 (2), 769−775. DOI: 10.1021/cs501620f

his article contains an error in Figure 5. The labeling of the bars for NaBF4 (TO = 30), NaBArF (TO = 8), NaOTf (TO = 50), and NaClO4 (TO = 36) were mixed up. Accordingly, page 771, line 24 should read: “Our analysis of a series of commonly available salts revealed, as expected, that sodium salts of tetrafluoroborate (turnovers (TO) = 30), triflate (TO = 50), and perchlorate (TO = 36) anions also show efficient H/D exchange (Figure 5).” The correct Figure 5 appears along with the accompanying caption.

Figure 5. H/D exchange of toluene-D8 with main group salts of weakly coordinating anions. Reaction conditions: 28 μL of toluene-D8, 42 μmol of salt, 0.8 mL of HOTFA, 80 °C, 17 h.
