CATALOGS Pesticide analysis Catalog lists more than 700 pesticide standards and 180 pesticide metabolites, some of which are A2LA-certified pesticide reference materials. Pesticides and metabolites are listed by generic and trade names, certified for purity, and provided with expiration dates. Standards are offered individually and in kits.

Multidimensional GC goes on line Dual-oven process gas chromatograph Model PGC-302 can be installed on line to control up to 32 sample streams. A valveless "live tee" column-switching system based on differential pressure for capillary or packed-column GC provides switching between the ovens in 0.1 s for simultaneous analyses. Multidimensional capillary chromatography can be done by using heart-cutting and back-flushing techniques. Detector types for the system include flame ionization, thermal conductivity, flame photometric, photoionization, and electron capture. The PGC-302 is supplied with DOS-based menu-driven software for 386 or higher version PCs. The software controls instrument parameters, collects and integrates data, displays chromatograms in real time, and calculates analyte concentrations either on site or at a remote location. The software also accommodates instrument networking and modem communication. Sampling devices for the chromatograph are supplied separately, depending on the sampling protocols required. The system can be equipped for turnkey operation that includes sample preparation and analytical protocols and for operation in Class I, Division I or in Division II
Reagents and standards Catalog presents more than 1200 standards and analytical reagents by method category for Karl Fischer titrations, ICP-
Mass • selective detection for GC The Model G1800 GC detector system is an integrated single unit containing a gas chromatograph and a dedicated quadrupole MS detector with electron impact ionization. The system is designed for applications such as organic synthesis for drug design and quality assurance testing for the petrochemical industry. In addition to concentration and retention time, the detector provides structural information to help identify unknown peaks in the chromatogram. The MS detector can distinguish between and identify coeluting compounds, and it can be set to operate in SIM mode. The detector identifies compounds that are volatile below
AES and AAS, biochemistry, trace metal analyses, and other methods and applications. Products include standard solutions, buffers, acids for trace metal analyses, organic dyes and indicators, and bulk chemicals. The catalog includes a crossreference section that lists items by CAS number and by product ordering number.

400 °C and have molecular weights < 425 Da. The G1800 is designed for users with little or no MS experience; the mass spectrometer functions as a turnkey GC detector. System software with a graphical user interface runs under Windows 3.1 and provides automatic peak integration, peak purity checking, and calibration. Self-diagnostics routines perform system verification, check for air and water leaks, load methods, prompt the user to inject evaluation samples, analyze the results, print reports, and suggest troubleshooting procedures. The system also counts injections and alerts the user when inlet maintenance is needed.
