T h e noninterference of fluoride is significant in that, although it can usually be removed by efficient fuming, such a process is time-consuming and in the case of radioactive solutions may be highly undesirable. Cationic Interferences in Titration. Possible cationic interferences in the amperometric titration of Group I V B metals with cupferron are evident from the earlier zirconium studies (24, 26). Iron( 111), vanadium(V), niobium(V), uranium(IV), and large amounts of tin(1V) are the only common interfering metals.
