This method offers many advantages. The over-all time is about 4 hours, and the applied time is less than 1 hour. The technique is simple and t h e apparatus is readily available. The deviation from accepted or independent analyses of crudes is less than 5 parts per thousand, a fact that recommends it as a cost-accounting tool.
