Diphyl stays cool

Organic heat transfer fluids with high thermal stability Where transportation of large volumes of heat covering a wide temperature range is necessary, there are clear advantages to be gained by using synthetic Diphyl heat transfer fluids from Bayer. Diphyl® can be used either in liquid form or in the vapour phase at temperatures from + 13 °C to +400 °C. This makes it possible to heat large complex plants at low pressure with ideal temperature distribution with a relatively simple system design. Diphyl DT: Our most cost-effective heat transfer fluid for temperatures ranging from - 3 0 °C to +330 °C. Compared with mineral oil based heat transfer fluids, it offers improved thermal stability combined with excellent heat transfer properties which result in extended service life and improved cost/performance ratio.

Diphyl THT is a heat transfer fluid with excellent properties for transferring large amounts of heat in non-pressurized systems at temperatures of between 0°C and 345 °C. The high thermal stability due to the tried and tested polyphenylene structure guarantees an above-average service life even at constantly high temperatures. Working without pressure in the liquid phase results in improved operating safety and cost effectiveness. None of the Diphyl types cause corrosion of materials used in plant construction^ or are toxic. And behind all products there are decades of experience of a competent heat transfer fluid producer. For further information please request our product brochures or the Diphyl diskette which contains detailed product data and enables relevant calculations to be carried out.
