Division of Environmental Chemistry Graduate Student Awards The Division funds up to 25 annual awards to fulltime graduate students currently enrolled in a U.S. educational institution in chemistry, environmental engineering, or other programs emphasizing environmental chemistry. These students must have completed one full year of graduate study at their current institution by January or February of the award year’s announcement. The award is based upon students’ records in course work, evidence of research productivity, and on application/nomination statements from graduate faculty advisors. Primary emphasis will be given to the students’ potential for future contributions as professionals in environmental chemistry. Graduate students who receive the award will receive a one-year membership in the Division of Environmental Chemistry and a cash award.
