H-59970—Stirrer—"Lightnin" model V. The universal series wound motor on this stirrer is interchangeable on A. C. or D. C. current, and can be used with H-59993 rheostat for speed variation. The stirrer is light but of rugged construction for service over a full range of viscosities. The right angle gear drive will produce a shaft output speed of 1500 r.p.m. Use of H-59993 rheostat will reduce shaft speed by one half. Motor is semienclosed and fan cooled. Monel metal shaft is 12" long and % " diameter; propeller is monel metal, 3 blade, 2" across. Bronze tank clamp H-59980 is standard equipment.
