To help you plan your attendance schedule for 1965, we list below the major Divisional activities and symposia now scheduled for 1965. May we draw your attention in particular to the Award Address by Vladimir Haensel, 1965 recipient of the ACS Award in Industrial and Engineering Chemistry sponsored by Esso Research and Engineering Co. PLANS FOR 1966 T h e 1966 spring meeting of the ACS will be in Pittsburgh, and the 1966 fall meeting in New York City. There will be a third 1966 meeting, in Phoenix, Ariz., in January. Symposia subjects under discussion for I & E C Division sessions include: Non-Newtonian Flow, Batch Processing, Irradiation for Upgrading Polymers, Krypton-85 as Universal Tracer, Crystallization, New Inorganic Catalysis Processes, Thermodynamics of Rate Phenomena, Simultaneous Heat and Mass Transfer, Extractive Metallurgy, Homogeneous Catalysis, Fluid Mechanics, Blowing Agents and Applications, Effectiveness of Process Research, Dynamic Programming of Physical Operations. T h e Chemical Engineering Symposium topic for 1966 is Chemical Engineering in Medicine and Biology, and \vi11 be held in November or December at the University of Cincinnati.
