U n l e s s t h e conditioner is right, t h e s m o k e r m a y find his cigarettes in any c o n d i t i o n — d r y , c r u m b l y and sharp-burning, or t o o soggy and acrid for s m o k i n g comfort. Conditioners n o w used h a v e certain d i s a d v a n t a g e s . E x c e s s i v e m o i s t u r e is absorbed a t high humidities, while moisture is l o s t at low h u m i d i t i e s . C o n s e q u e n t l y , cigarettes vary widely in moisture c o n t e n t and in pleasure for t h e smoker. Arlex c a n o v e r c o m e these difficulties—with a plus-value t o t h e s m o k e r .
