1970 MCA Award Recipients The four recipients of the 1970 College Chemistry Teachers Award of the Manufacturing Chemists' Associstion are: (left to right) Dr. Howard Anthony Neidig, Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pennsylvania; Dr. Eugene George Rochow, Harvard University; Dr. Robert E. Treybal, New York University; and Mr. Robert L. Burham, Grand View College, Des Moines, Iowa. The annual awards were established by MCA in 1957 and have a dual purpose: to recognize and reward teachers in the field of chemistry who have been outstanding in the teaching of undergraduate students; and to enhance public recognition of the importance of good teaching in the field of chemistry. The recipients each received a medal, a, citation, and $1,000 at the Annual MCA Meeting in June. THE JOURNAL joins with their students, friends, and colleagues in congratulating Professors Neidig, Rochow, Treybsl, and Burham.
