A Computer Program for Heat of Combustion Calculations A computer program is available for converting raw data, taken during the course of a comhustion experiment with an isothermal oxygen bomb calorimeter, to the standard state energy of combustion (heat of combustion at constant volume) AEc' of compounds consisting of any combination of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen. The program is written in Fortran IV for the IBM 360165 computer. Several options are given for: the method of input of raw data, the calculation of the time-temperature slope in the fore period, and the computation of the energy of comhustion based either on the mass of sample or amount of carbon dioxide recovered.
