Why we developed a new regulator to match our aluminum cylinder.
When your gas mixture is shipped in an Airco Spectra-Seal™ aluminum cylinder, it stays stable until you're ready for it. Even if that's years later. A special wall treatment of the cylinder assures that your gas mixture doesn't get contaminated. The problem, of course, was that the old regulators weren't equal to the task of delivering your gas mixtures with the same accuracy and stability. So we developed a new aluminum regulator to use with your old aluminum cylinder. And designed and built it so it was just as good. Then we developed a stainless steel
regulatorjustforgood measure. Alsojust as good. Totopitall.we figured out a way to treat and condition both new regulators, and then to ship " them in a sealed, voided state so they wouldn't be contaminated by environmental impurities when you want to use them. So now there's no reason why you can't get the exact gas mixture you want. Out of your Airco aluminum cylinder. And through your new Airco regulator. It's a matched set.
