Model 9125A X-Y recorder is designed for use with Model 9100A computing cal culator. The recorder makes permanent graphs of functions solved by the cal culator and does it with greater precision and speed than hand plotting. Func tions plotted by the calculator-recorder usually are iterative problems, in which the independent variable is incremented in small steps. The calculator computes the value of the dependent variable for each value of the independtent variable, places the two values in its X and Y display registers, commands the recorder to move to the new coordinate point thus indicated, and plot it. It then increments the independent variable and computes the next point while the recorder is plotting the last. The system takes 0.9 second to plot each point. ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY

Model 1504 is a third generation digital printing integrator designed to interface to any laboratory instrument directly or by means of optional adapt ers. The basic unit is available with log-linear, differential thermal analysis, atomic absorption, digital recording, and tape punch adapters. The inte grator interfaces with all laboratory voltage analogs to give digital equiv alents of peak areas from both linear and nonlinear outputs, and also data points on the curve or time dependent integrals. All these values can be pre sented in computer format. Nester/ Faust Mfg. Corp., 2401 Ogletown Rd., Newark, Del. 19711 410

Automatic Titrator

Titroprint Ε 475 is an automatic potentiometric titrator with all digital printout. It is designed for repetitive titrations but can be instantaneously switched to a different titrant system and procedure. The Titroprint records the complete course of a titration by continuously printing out the volume change vs. potential change. In this manner single or multiple endpoints can be recognized at a glance and either estimated from the printed values or precisely calculated. Titra tion Stand Ε 507 with interchangeable plug-in glassware unit is available for use with the Titroprint. Brinkmann Instruments Inc., Westbury, Ν. Υ. 11590 " 411

Model H-1200 Infragraph is a grating IR spectrophotometer capable of scanning spectra at high speeds (less than two minutes for a full scan). The optical arrangement of the instrument minimizes mirrors in the photometric section which avoids energy losses and improves double-beam compensation and stability alignment. The corner arrangement of sample and reference beams at a right angle also permits wider use of accessories. Spectral range is 4000 to 650 c m - 1 and resolu 1 tion is better than 5 c m - at 1000 cm- 1 . The Infragraph is manufactured by Rank Precision Industries, Ltd., England. Gas Chromatograph

Model 69-500, a low-cost gas chromatograph, is capable of routine analysis and limited research in either the laboratory or the plant. Features include gold-sheathed filaments and a failure-proof septum system. Total weight of the unit is 16 pounds. GowMac Instrument Co., 100 Kings Rd., Madison, N. J. 07940 413
