Kyoto Pharmareutical University, Misasagi, Yamashina-ku, Kyoto 607,Japan As part of our continuing search for alkaloids of Lauraceous plants (1, 2) from chemotaxonornical interests, we report here the isolation and identification of two aporphine and two l-benzyl-tetrahydroisoquinoline alkaloids listed in Table 1, from Lindera glauca (Sieb. et Zucc.) Blurne, Lindera erythrocatpa Makino, and Lindera citriodwa (Sieb. et Zucc.) Hernsl. Full details of the isolation and identification of the compounds are available on request to the senior author.
