FREE SAMPLES OF MONSANTO TERPHENYLS If you'll take a sample of the Monsanto Terphenyls (high-molecular weight, aromatic hydrocarbons) and put it through the paces in your own laboratory, you may come up with a great improvement in your processes, in your product . . . or with an entirely new product. Monsanto Terphenyls, only recently made available in commercial quantities, are offered as a mixture and as relatively pure individual isomers. New opportunities for chemical synthesis in dyes, drugs, and organic chemicals are opened by the Terphenyls. They may be halogenated, sulfonated or nitrated. The sulfonates may be hydroxylated in the manner usual for aromatic radicals. Aliphatic radicals may be added by Friedel-Crafts reaction. We suggest you check over the properties of Monsanto Terphenyls, published here, and select the one that seems best fitted to your present or postwar production. Then let us send you an experimental sample or, if you wish, samples of all
of them. MONSANTO CHEMICAL
