Catherine Clarke Fenselau is asso ciate professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore and director of the NSF Regional Instru mentation Laboratory there. She re ceived her AB degree from Bryn Mawr College and her PhD in chemis try from Stanford University. Her current research interests include the synthetic and analytical chemistry of glucuronides, chemical mechanisms for the biological activities of alkylat ing agents, and mass spectrometry.
