Model 14 of the Bendix Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer combines a high-speed, line-of-sight sample inlet with fast pump-out of the analyzer region so necessary for this difficult analysis. Both plus and minus flame ions can be analyzed as well as neutral radicals and molecules. Radiation Detection Co., 4047 Transport St., Palo Alto, Calif., has introduced dosimetry ledger accounting as a part of its film badge service. The ledgers provide individual records of radiation exposure for each employee, thereby meeting that requirement in the proposed modification of Standards for Protection Against Radiation (10 CFR, Part 20) of the Atomic Energy Commission. The dosimetry ledgers will provide a complete record of all film badge data for each individual for one year. The ledgers are provided in addition to the standard dosimetry reports. Either calendar or NCRP cumulative 13-week exposure summaries are given in addition to the yearly cumulative summary. Scientific Glass Apparatus Co., Inc., Bloomfield, N. J., has built a new 15,000-square-foot branch plant in Centex Industrial Park, Elk Grove Village, 111. The new plant will serve as a midwest warehouse for laboratory apparatus, instruments, chemicals, glassware, and general supplies. Technical Furniture, Inc., Statesville, N. C , has changed its corporate name to Kewaunee Technical Furniture Co. The company manufactures and distributes nationally both wood and metal scientific furniture and equipment designed especially for educational, medical, and industrial laboratories. Technical Furniture, Inc., is an affiliate of Kewaunee Manufacturing Co., Adrian, Mich. The change in name is intended to identify the affiliate more clearly with the Kewaunee Manufacturing Co.
