CALL FOR NOMINATIONS The Kansas City Section of the American Chemical Society is soliciting nominations for the 46th Kenneth A. Spencer Award for Outstanding Achievement in Agricultural and Food Chemistry. The award recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of agricultural and food chemistry and is presented annually to encourage those engaged in research, education, and industry to continue the quest for excellence in their field. The recipient of the award will be invited, as our distinguished guest, to address our local section and to receive the award and an honorarium of $6,000. This call for nominations is for the 2000 award, which will be presented in February 2001. The deadline for submission of nominations is September 1, 2000.
