Can Dimethyl Sulfoxide Dissolve Your Problems? -ife
DMSO Solvent for...
At 20 degrees C (68°F), DMSO will dissolve, by weight, 60% sulfur dioxide; 30% hydrogen chloride; 30% nitrogen dioxide. As much as 33 volumes of acetylene will dissolve in dimethyl sulfoxide at 15°C (59°F). Ethylene oxide also exhibits a high degree of solubility.
