VhRSENE* (The Modern Complexion A«ent) is the tetra sodium salt ot Ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid and is jNuilable in solution or powdered lorm. In electroplating and many other chemical processes where it is necessary to reduce ion activity, or inactivity of impurities, Versene can be used to torm soluble complexes with most metals. Versene may also be used as an eluting agent tor use in base-exchange columns. Base exchange resins hold certain metals \ery iirmly but by adding a little Versene to the wash water these metals may be easily removed. Send for Technical Bulletin No. 2 and sample. Write Dept. A.
