OLEX... most selective process possible to give you the olefins you need! UOP's exclusive new OLEX process can now give you the high-purity normal olefins you want, when you want them. Olex* uses unique adsorption techniques... has demonstrated a minimum separation efficiency of 95% with normal paraffin and olefin feedstocks ranging up to Cis. Through selective feedstocks, you can pick a specific range of olefins for use in the manufacture of soft detergents, plasticizers, viscosity index improvers or synthetic lube oils.
PAREX... new UOP process boosts pure para-xylene yield! UOP's Parex* is a continuous process that assures almost total recovery of pure paraxylene from mixed xylene fractions for use in producing polyester film, fiber and yam. Not only does Parex increase yields, it also provides the means to reduce both capital investment and production costs.
