Abstract: The two isoelectronic hydrides PPN+CpV(CO),H- (1) and - C ~ M O ( C O ) ~(2) H react with a variety of metal carbonyls and alkyls. Treatment of Fe(CO)5, Cr(C0)6, (CH3C5H4)V(CO),,CH3Re(CO)S,and (CH,CO)Re(CO), with 1 produces HFe(CO)L, HCr(CO)
