Consumption of Industrial Alcohol On March 21, Charles I,. Reese appeared before the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives in opposition to the Cramton Bill, which, if passed, would put industrial alcohol under the control of the prohibition commissioner. Dr. Reese spoke in behalf of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, of which he is president, as past president of the Manufacturing Chemists’ Association and member of its executive committee, as well as the chemical director of E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Co., Inc.
