Correction to “A Sugar-Functionalized Amphiphilic Pillar[5]arene: Synthesis, Self-Assembly in Water, and Application in Bacterial Cell Agglutination” Guocan Yu, Yingjie Ma, Chengyou Han, Yong Yao, Guping Tang, Zhengwei Mao, Changyou Gao, and Feihe Huang* J. The last sentence in the third paragraph should be deleted: “However, the application of pillararenes in biologically relevant fields has not been reported.” During the preparation of this manuscript, a paper on the application of a pillar[5]arene as an inhibitor of the adhesion of an uropathogenic Escherichia coli strain to red blood cells was published but was inadvertently missed and not cited.1 The authors apologize for this oversight.
