Correction to “Hindered Translator and Hindered Rotor Models for Adsorbates: Partition Functions and Entropies” Lynza H. Sprowl, Charles T. Campbell, and Líney Á rnadóttir*

DOI: 10.1021/acs.jpcc.5b11616 ll of the x-axis labels in the Abstract graphic (Table of Contents graphic), Figure 6, and Figure 7 should be changed by replacing “log10” with “ln”. As a further clarification for the reader, all of the y-axis labels in the Abstract graphic, Figure 4A, and Figure 6 should be changed by replacing “Strans” with “ (Strans − S1)”, as was already clear in the caption. In the second sentence after eq 38, “As noted above, S1 has essentially the same value as...” should be replace by “As noted in ref 21, S1 has essentially the same value as...”. In Table 1, the two adsorption energies listed for each adsorbate in the last column should be switched, such that they should read from the top to bottom as “ −0.728, −0.306, − 0.656, −0.062, −0.637, −0.054, −0.458, −0.045, −0.270, −0.037”. In Table 3, both the seventh and eighth lines in the first column should be changed by replacing “Strans” with “(Strans − S1)”. On page 9729 in the paragraph beginning with “Figure 6B compares...”, the second and third sentences should be replaced with “When Wx/(kT) exceeds 10, the HO approximation is almost the same as the true hindered translator entropy. When Wx/(kT) is between 1 and 10, the HO approximation underestimates the hindered translator entropy but only by small amounts (
