Table 1. Summary of the Activation Energies for Diffusion Measured in This Work

n this article, Figure 10 is exactly the same as Figure 9. The correct figure is shown here. The caption and content are correct in the original paper.

The Figure 6 discussion on page 7769 should be changed to “In order to maintain the charge balance of the compounds during diffusion, three Ni3+ ions need to exchange with one Li+ and two Mn4+ ions in the transition metal layer. Conversely, one Ni3+ can directly exchange with one Co3+ ion, which can explain why the Ni 3+ /Co 3+ couple shows the lowest interdiffusion coefficient at 900 and 1000 °C.” This correction will not change our final conclusion.

Figure 10.

In Table 1, the activation energy for Ni/Mn should be 0.55 eV and 54 kJ/mol instead of 5.5 eV and 540 kJ/mol, respectively. The correct table is shown here. The Ni/Mn couple has the lowest activation energy instead of the highest, but D0 of the Ni/Mn couple is the lowest, which is the reason why the Ni/Mn couple shows the lowest interdiffusivity even at 1000 °C. © XXXX American Chemical Society
