n our recently published article1 a typographical error unfortunately occurred in the printed version of eq 23 that would lead to entirely incorrect predictions of the salt concentration inside the swollen polyelectrolyte gels. However, all numerical results published in the article have been obtained using the correct form of eq 23; therefore, the related discussions and conclusions were not affected by this misprint and remain valid.
