uring the review process of our paper, waltheriones E−L were reported from the roots of Waltheria indica in Journal of Natural Products 2014, 77, 2304−2311. The use of the same name to describe two different compounds will bring some confusion to the scientific community. Therefore, we want to change the name of our new compound to 5′-methoxywaltherione A as follows: All instances of “waltherione E” in text, figures, and tables, should be changed to 5′-methoxywaltherione A. In addition, p 71, right-hand column, lines 3 and 4, should read “Thus, compound 1 was identified as 5′-methoxywaltherione A (Figure 2).” On p 72, paragraph 4, line 7, “waltherione A and E” should be “waltherione A and 5′-methoxywaltherione A”.
