where qt and qe (mg g−1) are the adsorption capacity at time t and equilibrium time, respectively, and k1 (min−1) is the pseudo-first-order model rate constant. The pseudo-first-order kinetics equation is our mistake. After careful checking, we confirm that the kinetics parameters for the pseudo-first-order model in Table 2 in the original published manuscript are calculated based on the correct k1t equation (log(qe − qt ) = log qe − 2.303 ). Thus, the obtained kinetic results listed in the table, and the conclusions in the original published manuscript are correct. The conclusions and results of the original work are not affected. We regret and apologize for this technical error.
