The new, low-cost 840 joins Du Font's growing family of liquid chromatography. Now Du Pont has a liquid chromatograph to fit any budget. You can buy as much or as little liquid chromatography capability as your budget allows. The Model 840 (shown on left) further extends the options available to the chromatographer or control lab by providing high performance at low cost. This permits you to explore liquid chromatography possibilities with minimum investment. Or if a method has been developed, you can set up multiple units for "dedicated" quality control analyses without the expense of instruments designed for research applications. This flexibility combined with high performance is available for only $2,600. The basic instrument includes a unique pressurized coil pumping system, a low dead-volume injection port, an integral solvent reservoir, and a highperformance ultraviolet
photometer detector. Optional accessories permit multi-column operation, above-ambient temperature operation, and fraction collection. A one-or-tenmv potentiometric strip-chart recorder may be used with the 840, and the photometer output is compatible with electronic integrators for precise quantitative analyses. If your needs are more sophisticated, perhaps our Model 830 or 820 is right for you.
