Asia Foundation Renews Grant The Asia Foundation's grant to the ACS has been renewed for 1962. This will enable the Society to continue its program for closer scholarly and per sonal ties between Asian and Ameri can chemists. scientific meetings; to finance member ships in the ACS up to three years for qualified Asian scientists; and to pro vide such other aid as may be in the best interests of Asian chemists and their countries. Information about the awards and application forms may be obtained from chairmen of departments of chemistry and chemical engineering of American universities or by writing to the Division of Research Grants and Fellowships, American Chemical So ciety, 1155 Sixteenth St., N.W., Wash ington 6, D.C.
