I t has just been pointed out that the circuit disgrarn shown in Figure 1 of the article, "Simple Potentiostat for Controlled Potential Electrolysis," J. CHEM.EDUC.,43, 428 (1966),18 incomplete. The corrected diagram should have the "cathode" terminal connected to the center t a p of transformer TI. All other connections are correct as given. The corrected portion of the diagram is shown on the right. I t is sincerely hoped that the accidental omission described above has not caused serious problems for anyone who has built the patentiostat.
