NMR FACILITY DIRECTOR. The Chemistry Department at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Research Assistant Professor to oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of its NMR Facility. The candidate must be able to interact with a diverse community of about 100 users to provide practical training in obtaining solution spectra as well as in performing both 1-D and 2-D experiments. It is further expected that the candidate will teach classes on NMR techniques, engage in collaborative research, and work with faculty to obtain grants to increase the research capabilities of the Facility. Candidate should have a Ph.D. in the physical or life sciences and have several years experience in modern heteronuclear, multidimensional, and biomolecular applications.
