Under the technical supervision of Scientific Design, start-up of the new KA Oil plant for Mitsubishi Chemical Industries, Ltd. was within two days of the originally projected 14-month schedule. The new plant (shown above) incorporates all of the recent improvements in the SD cyciohexane oxidation process which had already set records for high yields. There are now 8 plants licensed to use the
