phosphorylated thiol (WR 1729), and its symmetrical disulfide (WR 149 024). Glass TLC plates were coated with 0.25-mm thick Merck silica gel H (10-40 b , nach Stahl). After being dried, the plates were not stored in a desiccator and were not activated prior to use. The compounds were dissolved in water such that the appropriate quantity (10-50 pg) could be contained in 1-10 p1 of solution. Plates were spotted (
