Vacuum Ultraviolet Spectroscopy Laboratory
O f t O t a l i n f o r m a t i o n The McPHERSON dual channel, ratio recording, vacuum ultraviolet system w a s chosen by the INSTITUTE for BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH to further their investigations in the area of biophysics. This renowned scientific facility, established by the American Medical Association through its Education and Research Foundation, must of necessity use the finest of instrumentation appro priate to the techniques involved in such studies as m vacuum ultra violet spectroscopy • visible and infrared spectroscopy» circular dichroism and • polarization and luminescence. Here being displayed on the ratio-re corder is a heretofore unknown vacuum UV absorption curve of a synthetic poly peptide. A major program for the study of the structures of biomolecules is un derway which requires extensive data available only through use of vacuum UV absorption spectroscopy. For information on h o w you may use this n e w instrumentation of vacuum UV spectroscopy in the fields of biochemis try and biophysics, call or write:
