Meetings
The 47th American Society for Mass Spectrometry Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics will be held June 1317,1999, at the Wyndham Anatole Hotel in Dallas, TX. The conference wiil feature daily plenary lectures, oral and poster sessions, short courses, and workshops. Registration will be held Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. t. 8 p.m. at the Wyndham Anatole Hotel. Rates are $200 for members, $125 for student members, $290 for nonmembers, and $170 for student nonmembers. Approximately 20 workshops will be offered during the meeting, and seven short courses will be offered before the meeting. The Biemann Medal for achievement in MS in the early stages of one's career and the ASMS Award for a Distinguished Contribution in Mass Spectrometry will be announced at the conference.
