JEKYLL ISLAND SYMPOSIUM 11th International Conference on Partitioning in Aqueous Two-Phase Systems
Monday Afternoon
ISEAC '99 The 29th International Symposium on Environmental Analytical Chemistry will be held May 23-27,1999, at the Holiday Inn Beach Resort in Jekyll Island, GA The symposium will address recent advances in analytical chemistry applicable to environmental studies, including environmental process chemistry. During the four-day meeting, invited speakers from government, industry, and university laboratories will present the latest developments in the analysis of organic and inorganic pollutants. Also covered will be research mechanisms of chemical transformations to improve measurement of equilibrium and kinetic constants. Each day's session will begin with a plenary presentation addressing an issue of vital interest to environmental analytical and process chemists, followed by keynote and poster sessions on other topics. For more information, contact Genet Kibreab, Department of Chemistry, University of Georgia, Athens, GA 30602-2556 (706-542-1997; fax 706-542-9454;
