Waste Testing and Quality Assurance (WTQA ’00) he 16th Annual Waste Testing and Quality Assurance (WTQA) Symposium will be held August 5–10 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel, 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA 22202 (800228-9290). The theme of WTQA ’00 is “Environmental Sampling and Analysis in the 21st Century.” The symposium will provide the latest information from federal and state officials about progress on environmental monitoring and analysis. The program will begin with a plenary session on August 7, followed by concurrent technical sessions, August 8–9, on quality assurance and organic and inorganic chemical analysis. Other featured events will include a tabletop exhibition and short courses.
