Nash C o m p r e s s o r s h a v e b u t a single m o v i n g element, t h e Nash Rotor. This rotor is precision b a l a n c e d for long b e a r i n g life, a n d it revolves in t h e p u m p c a s i n g without metallic contact. Internal lubrication, frequent c a u s e of g a s contamination, is not e m p l o y e d in a Nash. Yet, t h e s e simple p u m p s maintain 7 5 lbs. p r e s s u r e in a single s t a g e , a n d afford capacities to 6 million cu. ft. p e r d a y in a single c o m p a c t structure. Nash C o m p r e s s o r s h a v e no valves, gears, pistons, sliding v a n e s or other e n e m i e s of long life. C o m p r e s s i o n is s e c u r e d b y an entirely different p r i n c i p l e of operation, which offers i m p o r t a n t a d v a n t a g e s often t h e a n s w e r t o g a s h a n d l i n g p r o b l e m s difficult with o r d i n a r y e q u i p m e n t . Nash C o m p r e s s o r s a r e c o m p a c t a n d s a v e s p a c e . T h e y run without vibration, a n d c o m p r e s s i o n is without pulsation. B e c a u s e t h e r e a r e no internal w e a r i n g parts, m a i n t e n a n c e is low.
