WHEN THE HEAT IS ON, CAN YOU FIND THE ATOMS ? Graphite furnaces produce a lot more "smoke" than atoms. When the heat is on, we can help you sort out the atoms from the background. Hitachi's unique Zeeman AA systems correct for higher background levels than conventional methods. And with a far greater accuracy. With better background correction, your sample preparation is reduced. And you can correct in the UV or visible because only your hollow cathode lamp is used for measuring both atomic and nonatomic signals. This eliminates replacing costly D2 Arcs. It also gives you a double beam system, since your reference beam goes through the cuvette — not around it.
It also goes through our new Zeeman flame, which is mounted in tandem with the furnace. Flame or flameless with nothing to change or align.
